Ambrinol smells briney and sandy/earthy to me, so might be something you consider (at a very low concentration).

And an observation: you can get good effect from helional in the 2-6% range. I have never dosed it that high so I can't necessarily claim that to be too much, but you might consider cutting back on the helional to replace with a filler, especially if you don't want it to crush your seaweed and algenone.
Thank you,
I have cut wayyy back on the calone and helional, someone sent me PA's marine accord formula. It looks like they used hedione as a filler.
The formula itself looks like a "this is a marine accord anyone can just throw in and say it has a marine aspect" and thats not what im looking for. Im looking for an accord that someone can distinctly say "oh yeah theres the briney ocean water, warm sand and slight driftwood nuance".
It may take a while to find, but im willing to put the time and work in. I was thinking of adding some amyl or benzyl salicylate like someone else suggested.
I was actually lookig at ambrinol earlier today. I might get a small vial just to test out 👍

Seaweed Abs comes in many versions, do not assume it is always the same across suppliers.
and heed dilution suggestions.

You've received several valid suggestions.
And what you've sought could be achieved via several paths.
An additional path could also be or could include in addition to what you have done so far: Aphermate, Choya Nakh, a large dose of Ambroxan, and a microdose of seaweed abs.

I made up that PA accord when I first started out, and it is absolutely a generic men's shower gel type of scent. The proportions they use can be helpful. Hedione will brighten up your accord if you use it as a filler, but if you are aiming for driftwood you might go with iso e super as a filler on top of the vertofix you're already using, along with a touch of kephalis and/or cypriol. Then I would think the addition of briney/animalic materials would set your accord well apart from the PA shower gel. I had an interesting time adding maritima to the PA accord at 0.2%, but it ended up with a pretty nauseating effect.

Ambrinol smells like dried spit and apparently a lot like real ambergris! I wouldn't know but I can see how it would, Ambrinol completely knocks you back when you whiff it.
