Hi all, I wore this vintage (seeming rare) Rochas last night which I found at Flea Market over the Holiday weekend. The Roach (with box) cost me two dollars! I'm liking this Rochas. Ooh Man, ya gotta love Flea Markets!

Well, on (5/28/23) I did a two hundred mile (round trip) drive along the beautiful Maine Mid-Coast. I stopped at several Antique Shops as well as several Flea Markets. I can't believe my luck when I found these three Fragrances at a Flea Market table. I purchased all three items for five dollars total. Once home later that evening, I was SHOCKED to discover that ROCHAS MONSIEUR is quite rare (no doubt long out of production) and bringing crazy money on the likes of Ebay. Wow! I almost feel kind of guilty now having paid only five dollars (OK, maybe not) lol.

Great finds at bargain basement prices. Nice to see there are still some good deals to be had if you're prepared to put the foot yards in.

I'm not sure I'd describe Monsieur Rochas - Eau de Toilette Concentree as 'rare' but finding one at a reasonable price online is definitely proving challenging! I love the aftershave version and have been looking for an Eau de Toilette version at a reasonable price for some time without luck.

You are the flea market champ, SixCats.
LOL, Ooh thank you CookBot! I swear, I LIVE for Flea Markets. Not only do I collect Fragrances, I collect vintage Cast Iron Skillets/Pots, vintage Gillette Razors, old Carbon Steel Chef/Butchering type Knives, Axes/Hatchets/Vintage Tube Audio gear/Speakers/Wool clothing and whatever might grab my attention as being a deal.

Ooh, speaking of "grabbing my attention", the Knife pictured below I found years ago at (come to think of it) the same Flea Market I found the Rochas Cologne.

This ZT Knife was mixed in among a box of cheap "overseas" made Folding Knives. The moment I laid my Hands and Eyes on this Folder, my Mind raced wildly as I was sure I recognized the two letters "ZT" on the Blade. The weight/build/quality of this knife was in a completely different Universe than all the other "junk" folders in the box. So, I kept my cool and I asked the seller how much he wanted for the Knife and he said "five bucks". I calmed my Hand from shaking and I handed this Gentleman five dollars, I said "Thank you very much" and left. Later that evening once home, I began searching the Net on this Knife and then, it all came back to me, that is to say, years earlier I had researched this Knife however, I never purchased due to price. Funny how years later, things work out. This ZT 0200 is in PRISTINE condition and has been sharpened/checked out/adjusted by the KERSHAW Company. Beautiful (but heavy) American made Folder.

LOL, too funny Oviatt. OMG, I can't justify the cost of a Lobster Roll today! The prices are INSANE at most places. Actually, $36.00 at (World famous) "REDS" in Wiscasset is actually less expensive than many other establishments that charge upwards of forty to fifty dollars for a (not so big) Lobster Roll.

In the Summer, I usually hang out at a lovely place (Lobster Wharf) and enjoy fresh raw Oysters (a Buck a shuck) and usually an order of "Steamers" (Clams). Besides, no Bread/Roll for me as I've been on the Carnivore Diet (starting my eleventh month June 1st.) I eat NO Carbs. Since last Aug. 1st. 2022, I've lost sixty two pounds (and eight inches in my Waist/Pant size). I hope to one day again be a "lean, mean, fighting machine!" lol.

Well, you could always go to Flo's for a hotdog (and not eat the bun!).

I saw an article in the NY Times last summer that said lobster rolls at the shacks along the Maine Coast were going for over $30 last year. I can just imagine what they'll be like this summer!

Congratulations yet again for such a flawless purchasing achievement and enjoy these impressive find.

Such type vintage bargains would keep their worth and value even if much pricier, but even more amazing if so stunningly inexpensive.
