this should be available sometime in September and will be my next (blind) buy. seems to be somewhat of a passion project by Herault and sounds excellent - a fresh & modern yet also classic vetiver finessed to a high level. it was presented by him personally at Esxence-2022 and so far met with glowing reviews.

Top notes: Hazelnut, Bitter orange and Mandarin orange;
Middle notes: Geranium, Neroli and Galbanum;
Base notes: Iris, Java Vetiver Oil, Vetiver and Sinfonide.

Notes looks interesting, though I'm not a fan of either pineapple or metallic notes, and the review prominently references both.

Any information on the ingredient "Sinfonide"? Hard to find much information on what it smells like/what kind of accord it would create. Maybe it's behind the metallic?

I had this bought for me at a special pre-launch event at Galeries Lafayette Department Store in Paris and have had it for about 3 weeks. It's a wonderful citrusy vetiver and a welcomed addition to my Jacques Fath collection.

looks like a pretty new molecule. all i can find on it is that it's 'impressive' and the following:

Sinfonide - a velvety musk with ambergris undertones, powerful yet almost lustrous
Sinfonide - brings musk, amber, woody and powdery notes

I have been notified this is not releasing until November, if anyone else was looking out for it.

so November came & went and this fragrance is still nowhere to be seen. there are even new Fragrantica articles placing it in the best releases of 2022 oblivious to the fact it hasn't been released. it's like they rolled out the marketing but forgot to release the fragrance so must be delayed into 2023 which is dissapointing.

It has been recently released in Paris, and I'm wearing it now.
Pleasant orange-y/powdery iris, with green airy undertones. Then it turns into sweet hazelnut in the base. Some facets of Terre d'Hermes (orange) and H24/Bois Imperial (the green airyness) as well as Fat Electrician (sweet nutty base), although far from similar to any of these three. Very unisex.
I like it, but a bit too young/modern for my tastes. I prefer my vetiver greener and more prominent, but could be a perfect easy-to-wear-in-office vetiver for who struggles with that note.
3.5/5 for me.

appreciate the impressions! i'll buy it in the new year if and when it's available but i'm not holding my breath with this company.

JF had its period of glory, but I'd agree with you that their current line-up has been mostly good, with a few great, but nothing breathetaking.
That said, despite it is not my favourite style, this fragrance combining iris and not-overly-sweet nutty vetiver is very well done, and will have a good fanbase.

i have little doubt the fragrance will be to my liking it's more a matter of it being fully available for sale. the company keeps giving timeframes for it's release then pushing it back - first it was September, then November, then before Christmas and now it's looking like 2023. they even sent it to Fragrantica editors to include in top 10 2022 lists and everyone in the comments is asking where can I buy it? terrible marketing.

Agreed. To be very honest, I summarized a bit: I got to try it at Sens Unique, a niche perfumery in Paris, who had only one tester bottle as a preview, kept under the counter, but still no bottles for sale...
I know the SA, who pulled it out for me to prepare me a sample because she knows I love vetiver...

So nice to have such a relationship with a shop.

Please let us know how you find it, sounds intriguing!
Herault's creations as of late have all been easy blind buys. Not sure if it's the revelations about Aventus that have boosted his confidence but his creativity is absolutely peaking through last couple of years. easily the closest to having a Pierre Bourdon still active in the industry, IMO.
