New challenge! Looking for a "delicate" jasmine - maybe your fav delicate florals in general

So you've all been wonderful with your jasmine recommendations in my other thread. I learned a lot about what I like, what I don't like, and a huge amount of new "to test" frags. Thank you all!

Here's one thing I noticed - the jasmines often suggested were on the heavier side - Alien, Jasmine Antique, Sarrasins, A La Nuit, Joy, et Al.

What wasn't shared much would be delicate jasmines. First thing that comes to mind, for me, is L'Artisan's ThéPour Un Été. Alas, I don't know if they still make it or if it smells the same.

Ideas? I'm looking for combinations with citrus, rather than ambers.

I don't think I've ever smelled a jasmine with citrus like that. I'm looking for this too. BTW, A La Nuit is not supposed to be heavy, have you tried it? I know Perris Monte Carlo is supposed to have a nice jasmine, but I've never smelled it.

I am one that likes "heavy hitter" perfumes in general but Jo Malone White Jasmine and Mint is a lovely light jasmine. I like it in summer.
ETA: I just found that this one has been discontinued. But I find all the Jo Malone fragrances to be lightweight.

I find Jasmins et Cigarette by ELDO to be relatively light.

Perhaps La Chasse aux Papillons by L'Artisan Parfumeur? The Extreme version is much heavier on linden than jasmine though.

Amouage's Honour Woman is a bit heftier, but still a wonderful white floral.

Guerlain Aqua Allegoria Jasminora
Goutal Le Jasmin
Estee Lauder Private Collection Jasmine White Moss

l don't know how easily available any of these are nowadays, but l found all of them to be on the lighter, prettier side.

Lots of great ideas - I'm actually thinking Jo Malone might be worth a shot (as much as it pains me to say that).

Does Goutal still make a jasmine?

Ooooh, I love this topic. I actually keep a category on my blog just for perfumes I consider delicate. It's hard to define, but very cool to see I'm not the only one seeing a distinct group of floral perfumes with this quality.

My favorite delicate jasmine is, by far, Diptyque's Olene. It's mostly jasmine with some honeysuckle and wisteria around the edges, so it's just a little honeyed and golden and feels like a bouquet of freshly-cut blooming white, yellow, and purple flowers.

Other delicate floral favorites: En Passant by Frederic Malle is a very similar fresh-cut-flower delicate floral scent, centered on lilac. It's a little too watery for me, and I prefer Pacifica's far more decadent French Lilac, but if you're looking for a dainty, refined, delicate lilac, this is it.

The bouquet of florals in Liz Claiborne and Lucky Brand's Lucky You for Women is delicate in that same aqueous, watercolor sort of way.

I get the same hazy effect in a good amount of Jean-Claude Ellena's work as well. Hermes' Le Jardin de Monsieur Li, in particular, is a gorgeous combination of light green notes, jasmine flowers, and bright juicy kumquat that sounds like exactly what you're looking for.

And my personal favorite delicate floral right now is Gucci's Memoire d'une Odeur. There's some jasmine in there, but it's mostly a light and aromatic chamomile note and a gorgeously restrained and quiet bitter almond. It feels like the sort of perfume a woodland fairy might wear as she hums to herself and brews her afternoon tea.

There's something he uses in his line that I'm really sensitive to - in the laundry musk family. I feel like I'm missing out.
If you are sensitive to those laundry musks, you likely will not tolerate this one sadly.

Thank you for your thoughts! I have an issue with Diptyque and I've never been able to fully explain it. They smell over-exposed, but I'm a particular way.

Anyway, going to retest the Gucci. I thought it was interesting, and gutsy, but sadly it didn't get much attention.

Teardrop made me go looking for the LeJasmin by Goutal that is hiding in a drawer. My favourite Jasmin is Eclat de Jasmin from the Privé Armani range but I can hear the howls of disagreement already. I bought 3 bottles when, for a short time during rebranding, it was a sensible price. But the past is gone and Samsara in EDT is a lovely light jasmine.

I had a senior moment. I forgot that Guerlain's 'Love Blossom' is cheap, cheery and very beautiful. Don't be put off by the 'airport promotion' because this is the EDT of the discontinued Duet Jasmin/Lilas. It was readily available a few months ago when I bought a back up
