OH DEAR!

Mine was just asthma, JUST I say ::) After 3 inhalers, steroids, anti-biotics and my very own peak flow meter I'm fine again.

Hope you are too, soon. :)

Thanks!

I also got a peak flow meter today...........how much are we supposed to reach to have a normal breath? I can only get it up to 450.................

Is asthma causing you any trouble scent-wise?

Mic.

Depends on your age and height, don't have a chart handy (I'm a nurse too ::))

My peak flow when I was bad was 600, mine is supposed to be nearly off the scale as I am 6'4!

Anything 350 and below then yu should be seeking medical advice for oral steroids (prednisolone (sp) well thats what they call em in the UK).

Oooops! I think we are goin a little off topic here! ::)

(IM me if you like ;))

I've just been prescribed prednisolone and a seretide diskus inhaler, after a chest infection!!I am not alone! This is the first time i have ever had breathing problems, except for the time i sprayed on some of the recent monstrosity from Dunhill!!Any way my sense of smell seems to have become slightly more acute---due to a reduction in inflammation, methinks ---a possible benefit of steroid usage.I have been trying to smell Mouchoir de Monsieur for a while, but the Guerlain rep here in Ireland says it is only available in Horrids in London.Should I buy before trying? What is its average longevity? And in what way does it differ from Jicky?

Whic one?
I bougft one few years ago- 200 mll bottle, and tried redesigned-100 ml flacon, but it is not the same scent. A new one is lighter and dosen't have the same staying power as the original. Pitty. But it is that strange Guerlain's policy. They've changed, little, but evidently almost all men's fragrances-Derby, Vetiver, Habit rouge and made them lighter, freshier. They could preserved original version and introduce "fraiche" variants. But it's demand of the market and taste which prevails nowdays, I think. Pitty, pitty.

ARGH!

Once again Basenotes puts me on the hunt for something "before I can't get it anymore"...can someone please post pictures of the old and new packages/bottles for MdM? I don't know how to tell them apart.

Sounds like I should score an old bottle while it's still possible. Thanks...
