Hello, fellow nerdettes and nerds! It's time for the first stats of year 2023.

Mine look like this:

7 Ambra Nera, Mitsouko
6 Parfum Sacré
3 (Divine) Bergamote
2 Coup de Fouet, Lime di Sicilia, Poivre, Vétiver (Carven)

It has been quite cold here, so have been in the mood for warming amber and spices, citruses have been great for dark days.

I wore Indian Study twice, everything else was a single wear. Lots of incense, and several BWFs that did remarkably well in the cold. None became cloying or "too much."

My January was very floral, with just a little bit of amber, vanilla, smokiness and citrus. Rose/peony/dog rose, jasmine, gardenia, tuberose, orange blossom, neroli, lily - all were prominent. Two more themes seem to be inexpensive fragrances + discontinued fragrances, hmmm.

Coco & Hypnotic Poison are usual winter suspects, just like Stash and Le Lion, but I'm personally glad to see LPRN Black Perfecto and Bois d'Iris up here as I myself enjoy wearing them - mostly in transitional weather though!
Fracas, Dioressence and Candy has got some resurgence, I haven't seen them that high in a while I think.
Nice to see Camel so high, too, kind of surprising to see Zoologist get so popular, picked by more of y'all than some Chanels, Diors and Guerlains, hey!

Total worn: 17. This month l've largely concentrated on finishing a few samples, hence the unusual number of multiple wears. l'm also focused on finishing my bottle of Royal Egyptian... but still found time for some of my warm, resinous & oriental winter favourites.
