SOTD : RL Polo, WFH; in-person this evening. A scent to stand against this dismal rainy day.
Was going to wear Jacomo, but that'll keep till later in the week.
Marketed as a dupe of YSL Tuxedo. You can spot where corners were cut. Still an enjoyable wear. Too bad Tuxedo has been so hard to track down. I’d gladly spring for the original if I found it at a decent price. In the meantime, Black Tie Affair is lots of fun to wear, an enjoyable tumble of top notes vying for the top “look at me” spot. Not quite as exciting once the first act calms down.
On this nasty rainy Louisiana morning, I opted for clean and simple with Happy for Men by Clinique. This is from the original Made in USA bottle, which is better than the current version. The original is a smoother take on what can be a harsh synthetic opening, and has a slight creamy bottom. Also, the original easily wears 8hrs as opposed to newer stuff disappearing in 4 hours on my skin.
