It would be futile of me to try and describe this when others have done a far better job already. Read the wonderful review by @Varanis Ridari who delves into some of the history if you're interested. For those who don't like reading long reviews @Colbourne sums it up perfectly with '...sort of a citrus cologne with a dash of fougere in the drydown'.
There's something quite lovely about simplicity. Perfect for a warm spring day.
What a fragrance. Was debating whether it's too strong/deep a fragrance to wear on a warm day but it's just such a great scent. No problems at all, and received compliments already.
SOTD : Hermes Eau d'Hermes. Current version. Lacks the spices (esp cumin) of batches from only a year past. On my skin is citrus, clean pale leather, a hint of musk, and an even fainter hint of spice. Oh dear, this is so polite and nice. OTOH, into the work rotation it goes, so it will be worn.
Wearing this new-to-me fragrance. #SOTD 💛 🌐
(Very nice! In that mossy masculine 80s/90s neighborhood with good performance and unexpected low pricing.)
Purchased cheap at a British novelty shop near my home. It’s good at evoking English countryside in a dignified manner. Not too strong, a good one for Saturday morning.
