Strange! I wouldn't have Egoiste Platinum down as having any Cinnamon, it isn't listed in the pyramid (not that that means much) and I don't detect any cinnamon in it all! I like Egoiste, less keen on Egoiste Platinum I just find it too metallic and sharp for me.

Now if you want a terrific Cinnamon fragrance this is one I'd recommend. Similar to Chanel Pour Monsieur with a Cinnamon twist, Carven - Monsieur Carven:

Yes, I confused Platinum with Egoiste as Nicolas said! Egoiste marked by cinnamon...

Perhaps the geranium and neroli gave me a love for the Platinum.

It's a fairly simple thing beautifully executed, that's its whole appeal for me! I find the same to be true of Chanel's Eau de Cologne. Strangely I have worn it for many years and have never felt associations with shaving cream or anything metallic like so many people seem to, it just smells green and clean to me!



I don't smell any cinnamon in PE, but I certainly do in Egoiste!
