Silly question, but does anyone have a favorite male or unisex perfume that you share with a partner? Or a female partner who routinely borrows from one's shelf? Do you get some entertainment out of having the same scent on while together (though I doubt anyone else would notice)?

I have a significant other fascinated with Xerjoff Naxos (but not other usual vanilla suspects) and is nudging me to get it with thinly veiled plans of borrowing it. She also keeps talking about Diptyque Eau Capitale (but did not warm to what should be similar scents) such that I was going to try it myself.

Few to none, but especially Chanel Antaeus, Knize Ten, Avon Black Suede Touch, Cerruti 1881 Amber and Versace Blue Jeans do belong to the few exceptions that did (ultimately, finally) confirm the rule.

We each have our separate bottles of Portrait of a Lady and Fragrance du Bois Oud Violet. I get her bottles when she tells me she’s going to take one of mine for herself. She did this with Burberry Red, then went through 2 more 100 ml bottles. Sadly, it’s no longer available.

Some fragrances that my wife and I share and enjoy are: mugler come together, tokyo bloom, mandarino di amalfi, you or someone like you

how do you wear this one? curious as I find the scent lovely, just not something I could wear, and just not something the lady feels she can wear right now.

enjoying this discussion and curious what the common threads of the scents listed are, outside the general obvious discussions of what makes a scent unisex. for example, I swear I have a partner whose scent preferences lean masculine.

You'll need to ask yourself if you truly think that scent is lovely, or if you actually think the idea of liking that scent is lovely. Whether one can "pull off" something is a whole complex topic in itself. If you believe that you cannot convincingly pull off the scent, and you truly think it is lovely, the only logical conclusion is to wear it when nobody is around.
