I find Ombre Nomade very easy to go nose blind to but it is very strong and lasts for centuries on clothes. The first time I ever smelled it I though it was very strong and I did notice subsequent testings it didn't seem as strong as my very first impression. It is possible there was an earlier version that they figured was too strong so they toned it down. But more likely, I'm thinking the first time I tested it was new to my nose so I was perceiving it more intensely. I've not got a bottle but a generous SA gave me a handful of the samples which is more then enough for me of this fragrance.

When I've worn it, it can waft in and out of perception and some days doesn't seem so strong as others, but I'm sure it is lasting as I easily smell it on my clothes the next day (one sweater still retains the smell from winter). When I had it on a test card I left in my room, I even noticed the smell filling up my room and for days I could still smell it whenever I first came back in my room.

So I wouldn't worry about its strength or longevity, just go easy on the trigger and take breaks from it.

I see, that makes sense. I sprayed one spray on my coat 2 days ago and smelled it just now, and can definitely still smell it. Thank you for the advice!

I think Ombre Nomade is probably a screamer compared to most designers due to its oud profile, even if LV overall is a rather sedate (and overpriced) house; but compared to something like Sauvage Elixir (with its near-weaponized sillage), Ombre Nomade probably can't hold up.

Same thing with many Bogart scents too, with projection enough to get a hazmat crew called, and even some of them falter in the face of Sauvage.

Sauvage Elixir - as stated - is near nuclear, chemically-weaponized, projection and sillage. Almost NOTHING can stand up to it, its literally too much.

That being said, Ombre Nomade is very very strong in my experience - one of the strongest in my collection - and it lasts for days on skin (and weeks or even MONTHS on clothes). I would suspect nose blindness could be the culprit, 1 or 2 sprays of O.N. and people commented on it 18 hours later - even though I personally couldn't smell it at all at that point.
