I have that issue with one of my chronographs too.
Is it a Citizen too? Shame, because I've only worn this one a couple times, and it was around $400. It has no lume either, which doesn't help. Also have another blacked out Citizen on a leather strap, but a little easier to see.. still a struggle. I will never buy a black on black Citizen again, without seeing in person first.

Todays piece:

An obvious fake, I saw advertised on Google, which, then re-directed me to Wish. Surprised that Google approves this, obviously, knowing they are selling counterfeits, but anyways. I have worn a real grand Seiko before and this is just a horrible clone. Everything about it is wrong, although I think that the actual case looks OK. The face looks decent. Even once zoomed in with macro lens. I’m sure if I took it apart it would be like paper though

Regardless.. wanted to see what a fake was like.. and its so obvious, both in look and feel. It’s my first fake, and surely my last… Wish already sent me a refund of the approx $23 it cost. I don’t recommend buying fakes, for yourself, and because it steals the work and property that a - most likely prestigious company gave a lot to. People who sell them should be prosecuted imo, its stealing money from the companies. I read somewhere that there are more fake Rolexes in the world than actual real ones, that is just crazy.

in any event, I’m still gonna wear this today and maybe use in the future as a “beater watch”.. just for when i need something that tells the time. Admittedly.. it is lightweight and comfortable. I did some scratch testing on it, just for fun. I don’t think the crystal is sapphire, but I did use some force on it with a knife, and I also banged it pretty hard on some sharp pieces of steel, and it did not scratch or break.

Today I was on the way out and it started to rain. I grabbed something “Water Resistant,” which turned out to be this Flik Flak children’s watch by Swatch. It keeps perfect time. This was a thrift-store grab-bag find some months ago.

If we had a watch sync for a frivolous watch that makes you happy, as we did for perfume this week, Flik Flak could fit in perfectly! 😊

That's a fun looking case!

Fun and looks like it’s gearing youngsters up for a future of watches with complications—way too complicated for me. I have no idea what those numbers are on the rim of the case, if they are anything other than decorative..
