A contractor-coworker of mine has a steel Rolex Daytona with a white bezel. I had to double-take when I saw the crown logo because back then I didn't know Rolex made chronographs like it. Stunning watch. He collects watches and has others. The other one I saw was a black Cartier Santos 100 with a black rubber strap. Lucky man!

I've never received as many compliments on anything as I have this watch....

If I had an unlimited budget right now, I'd probably buy an IWC Portuguese.

I just bought a nice Baume and Mercier Hampton, white face with a tan leather strap. Got it pre-owned from a trusted ebay seller for $329 shipped. Really classy looking. I have a 7.5 inch wrist, so I can get by with a little smaller watch, and besides, they're really coming back into style at the moment.

Phil Mickelson wore a TINY watch yesterday when he won the tournament.

Own a solid 18K Automatic Hampton case with an alligator strap and I love it. Very classy as you say.

A rather belated congratulation, very happy for you, for the outstanding quality watch for a very advantageous rate and also happening to personally admire this model range quite a bit- strongly admiring both at this moment and always having liked ever since most, nearly any rectangular/tank shaped male and unisex wristwatches.

Very nice, but for that price I would much rather spend that amount for a Patek, or Vacheron Solid Gold Tourbillon

Same here, I wouldn't wear one, though I like when horology gets pushed to the limits to create these little masterpieces

I feel that having a lot of watches is a plus. One style of watch that is my go to is the basic silver watch. My personal go to is called Edge Watch by a Korean brand Soo n Soo. Can be purchased at kooding.com. watch.jpg

I own an automatic Portofino similar to that pictured except without power reserve and moon phase in 18K and white dial. It's indeed a beautiful watch

I'm so pleased to see this thread here on Basenotes. It's great to see that so many of you have such great taste in watches.

I have a few that I love. Here's my beloved 1950 Omega Seamaster.
