I’m told Ariana Grande Cloud smells like baccarat rouge

Would not personally start a new thread recommending something I had no firsthand experience with, but to each their own. The comparison has been made a lot on the other site but hardly what I'd call a clear consensus as to its similarity with the MFK

I could only make it through the topnotes of Cloud - which were, as expected, ridiculously sweet and a tad nauseating (nice bottle though).

Not sure why anyone would think MFK only uses natural ingredients, how silly.

The handful of YT reviews I watched that compared the two, essentially came to this same conclusion as well. As in, they fall into the same type/genre, but smell different.

I gave Cloud a sniff at the store, and thought it smelled like a typical teen celebrity fragrance. How close it is to BR540, I don't know, but I imagine it's not as close as I wish it were.

It is a mental thing. It's similar to if you bite a piece of food you expect to be one thing and it turns out it is completely different; even if it tastes good on its own it doesn't taste right. This is the same but opposite; the fragrances do not smell similar but they go in expecting them to and get that ouf of them. That's why people buy bottles and instantly believe it is fake or reformulated; in their minds they want it to be wrong so it is wrong.

Haven't smelled Cloud but it wouldn't surprise me. MFK BR has a very bubble-gum pop kind of vibe. It is just executed very well somehow.

As for the Starbucks drink, it is actually a Cloud Latte. Haven't tried it. Its mostly foam, I believe. $5 foam.

Yes, BR540 plus an intense 'candyfloss' note. Both myself and the OH despised it, despite enjoying BR540.

My daughter wears Cloud and I guess the two are similar, but there is a lot of stuff similar to BR540. Absolutely not a clone by any means.
