Bleu de Chanel - I use 3 sprays before a date.

And then I have 165 1ml samples. This is all the stuff you guys have told me to check out.
I'm not worried about performance, longevity, projection, silliage, at all. I just like to smell stuff.
Each 1ml lasts about 40 "dabs" onto the skin.

Can anyone relate?

At this point in my life, and with the wise advice and kind encouragement of one of my favorite Basenoters, I am going to transition to samples--with the future rare exception of a full bottle. Enjoy your fragrance journey,

No, seriously, even though I have more bottles than a pair of calendars have days, I’m very into the sampling thing: like, a new sample for every day of the next 2–3 years. So, I totally relate to that. You do you.

Well ok, not quite, but I’m much more of a full-bottle person, which comes with its own pleasures and challenges. If I decide I like something, I usually want a lot more than 1ml, and often need more than that amount to really understand a fragrance and to know if it’s for me.

165 1ml samples x 40 "dabs" per sample = 6600 "dabs". I think you're good for the next 18+ years BlackForest. Enjoy.

That was me for the first 3 years. Then this year my bottle collection expanded from 4 to 12.

My saving grace is that i'm really not interested in expensive niche stuff after sampling fairly extensively. Everything I really like is in the $10 to $80 range at discounters. I own 1 thing that cost over $100 (Beau De Jour) and only aspire to two more (Bracken Man and Bel Ami).

I get the most excitement from finding cheapies that I like. It helps that I like old school stuff that is out of fashion and barbershoppy fougeres.

Can actually relate to such particular fragrance arrangement-especially if "trimming down" the collection to 2 great classics could never go without and/or the samples would cover most of the fragrance styles, notes, variations etc. specifically different from the two main scents.

I can't relate either, but I find it AMAZING that you joined in 2013 and only have 2 bottles! That's impressive!
