Greetings. I have managed to get a 2014 bottle of Dior Oud Ispahan, batch code 4X03, which means October 2014. Now, the seller didn't have the box anymore, which means, I can't say for sure if it is the original formulation or the reformulated version. As far as I know, based on the formulation code on the bottom of the box, the original Oudh Ispahan formulation code was 06784/A and it has been changed afterward to 08840/A.
My question is, does anyone know when exactly the formulation code changed? I know for sure that March 2014, so batch codes with 4Q are still the old formulation, and that 2015 bottles already have the new formulation code. Anyone who has a 4X batch code with the bottle who can help me out with a formulation code? I really want to find out so that I know if it's worth hunting down for an even older one or not.
Many thanks!

I think the only thing you could do is document both formulation and batch codes from pictures that you see online.

Until you know for certain maybe just focus on the bottles from 2012 and 2013 if owning a vintage bottle is important to you.

Managed to get a 2012 bottle with box. So I'll be able to compare with the late 2014 and see if my 2014 is still the original formulation.

Mystery solved. My 2012 bottle smells exactly like the 2014 October batch. So, it means that the formulation changed somewhere later in 2014, or in 2015.
