I know nothing about perfuming and need help coming up with a formula for a fragrance and disinfecting spray

It's a fragrance spray that disinfects and is safe for faux fur. This is already a thing in my hobbyist niche--usually equal parts water and 90% isopropyl alchohol-- but I want to offer something better. This needs to be non-staining.

I have perfumer's alcohol picked out but I don't know what emulsifiers or solvents are. What is polysorbate 20 and should I use it? Does it need water? Ratios of ingredients? I don't care about scents or notes, I have a bunch of fragrance and essential oils. I'd just like someone to give me a list of things to buy and the ratio of using them. Thank you!

If this is for a product you're bringing to market, then it sounds like you want to hire a perfumer to create the scent for your specific purpose. This will be much more efficient than the several years it takes to learn perfumery.

If it is a desinfectant for fake fur, then using musk ketone is an obvious idea - it will make furs smell more natural. Start with taking 0.5 grams of musk ketone per liter of desinfectant. It has great substantivity, so the fur will retain odor for a week after application. And musk ketone is cheap.

Why not experiment? It’s a fun process.
