Have you recently finished any home fragrance products? And, did you love it enough to replenish the product?

I've finished my Voluspa "Ambre Lumiere" candle & yes, I love this one! I already own a back up candle of this in the large 80 hour Maison Noir size.

Archipelago Birch

I was disappointed in this. I had a generic birch candle from TJ Maxx last year that I loved that was better than this and truer to the scent. Perhaps because the Archipelago candle was in a tin rather than glass affected the performance; I don't know. The scent was not very birchy and there was little throw. I won't get this again and can't recommend it, at least not in a tin can. I did not like it.

Trapp Amber & Bergamot

Unsurprisingly I could not pick out any notes. Pleasant but unremarkable.

Voluspa "Rose Petal Ice cream" candle.

I was disappointed in this candle. There was a quality control issue, the wick was off centre so there was tunnelling with this candle. About a third of the candle ended up in my wax warmer instead of being used the correct way. The scent was pleasant but not a love.

Blythe & Flint Humidor

Surprisingly light scent; negligible throw; unusual shape of the of the ceramic container made it difficult to burn evenly.

Not recommended.

Diptyque Oliban

The second of a three votive holiday set I've finished
the first being Feu de Bois.
This set is charming and the candles burn strong and even.
Very nice.

Trapp Burmese Wood

It was similar to my Archipelago Bamboo Teak candle, but the tonka bean in Burmese Wood gave it more zing.
I find that I am enjoying my Trapp candles more than my Archipelago ones.

Diptique Opopanax the last of a three votive holiday candle set, the other scents being Feu de Bois and Oliban.

If they do this set again, I can highly recommend it. They were just lovely.

Archipelago Winter Frost, a votive candle

The presentation was nice - packaging and glass container, etc., but the scent was pretty bland. I suppose it would make a nice gift but I won't buy it again for myself.

Wow, that's a nice collection and a lot to have finished off in 2 years.
I also finished Feu de Bois & Opopanax this year. I have Benjoin too but haven't burnt it yet. I guess I want to have my cake before I eat it too.

Archipelago Bamboo & Teak

The presentation was nice, it burnt evenly, the throw was okay, the scent was pleasant but bland.
It's an okay product, but I won't be getting it again.

Star Candle Mahogany Whitewood

This being a larger candle with 2 wicks, it burned very evenly. The throw was okay and the smell was nice.

Star Candle Winter Nights

This candle did not live up to its promise. The throw was negligible.
I am done with Star Candle.

Sand + Fog Havana Nights

This was a nice little candle. It smelled good, burned mostly even, and had a decent throw.

I tried a new (to me) incense stick today.
They are known to be a bit of a classic but I hadn't tried them personally yet.
Shoyeido's baika-ju plum blossom incense sticks.
Lightly floral, a bit of dark fruit, spice, and a calming/balancing wood.
Simple, yet characteristic.
Lovely scent. Will burn again.

dwHome Tranquil Lotus

Pleasant scent I could only smell directly over it. No throw to speak of. Pointless.

dwHome Juniper Wreath

Unfortunately it didn't burn evenly and I had to scrape it a lot. But I didn't mind because the throw was good and I loved the scent. I would actually get it again because I think the scent is worth the trouble.

Miller Harris La Pluie The scent was subtle but pleasant. The throw on these two Miller Harris candles I have are rather limited so I am glad I did not pay a lot for them.

Trapp Golden Cypress for this Epiphany day. "Golden" I think refers to the citrus top notes which are well blended. Lovely scent. I recommend this candle, and I may buy it again but not right away as I believe it is a holiday exclusive.
