Hi-YAA! I thought it would be fun to try this. I found a bottle about half full in an antique shop. I have always been curious what this is like. This bottle is labeled as aftershave. It has a pleasant, slightly spicy green quality, with a bit of a powdery finish with some pepper. Don't find much citrus or lime, but given how old this is I wouldn't expect those notes to have lasted. I remember the TV commercials, they were fun. Does anyone else remember them?

I remember this well from my adolescent years. It was all the rage back then with heavy TV promotion. Not my cup of tea though.

Didn't want to karate-chop the ladies off you huh? :ROFLMAO:

I don't blame you. Seems like a nuisance side-effect to wearing aftershave. 🙃

This was my first fragrance, purchased in a five and dime store in 1972. I bought it for a couple of bucks and loved it with the heart of a ten year old kid. I thought I smelled amazing and wanted the girls to think I smelled amazing...don't think they were impressed, LOL...but I still loved Hai Karate Oriental Lime. As I recall, it did have a lime presence when it was new, but as you say, Oddy, citrus notes would be the first to dissipate in an older bottle.

Hi-YAA indeed! 👍
