I walked over to Madison Ave intending to go to Frederick Malle and I enjoyed browsing there but honestly I came away thinking it was garden variety French which is fine but nothing special for the prices.

So walking uptown I turn right and see rows of bottles in a small shop called Fueguia 1833, one of two in the city. A line from Argentina that I never heard of.

Spent about 30 minutes and was able to get three samples that I liked, Vicuna, Darwin and Linnaeus.

So these are not polished like Italian, French and English fragrances but they are incredibly interesting and original. Super natural with a very rough edge I look for.

Looking forward to a real test drive.
