Any further opinions on Uncut Gem? I've been enjoying sampling it and can't understand the lukewarm response. It's the first Malle release I've liked for years.

I like it but wear it rarely — it's so powerful, my 10ml will last me a lifetime (unless I change my habits)! Not sure what it was but I was anosmic to it when I first received it. Either my nose changed or the fragrance did. It's what I'd imagine Dior Homme 2020 Elixir would smell like.

I might spring for a 10ml too. It's not something I would wear regularly, and I suspect a small amount would likewise last me a lifetime as well.

I find that in recent years Malle has gone back to their classics redux, or classics with a twist, approach (like Iris Poudre was). The problem I found is that I actually prefer the classic version in most cases, with the exception of Uncut Gem, where perhaps I had less experience in that genre.
