I've been searching for this for at least a year, with no success. I wrote them in late-April of last year, inquiring where I might purchase it. There reply was that it had been discontinued. More's the pity.

Yep. It is a little darker than the original. More incense and added slight leather touch. Its singing nicely today in warm weather.

I like it don’t get me wrong but I do get some grape candy vibes

I do know some white florals can smell of grapes so might be the orange blossom?

I really enjoy the new Charlatan, but I never got to try the old version, so I cannot compare them.

UWRF is great - perhaps runs a little on the gentlemanly side for me personally but it smells great and has a ton going on. Fun to just keep coming back to throughout the day (changes subtly minute by minute to my nose, eve).

Charlatan extrait is nice. Much more complex and luxurious than the EDP. Worth trying even if you're not impressed with the original.

This Under Which Rivers Flow is just….just……beautiful. The perfumer really did a good job on this. Hopefully he is open to making more batches of this stuff. I picked up 3 bottles. I like a few Fort and Manle fragrances, but this in my opinion is the brand’s magnum opus.

Grape fun dip, that's an interesting one. I loved the grape fun dips as a kid, and, ahem, confession time here, also as a totally mature and sophisticated adult, but I'm not sure I'd want it in a perfume. Most white florals don't play well with me so I tend to avoid them, but orange blossom is one that I do like and often seek out. I've never got a grape note from it as a soliflore, so might be another of the notes, or multiple notes in combination. I do find that the top notes work as an accord rather than discernible specific individual notes.

It's also subtly different every time I wear it. The first time I got a really intense, almost soapy oud with a strongly animalic edge, which I haven't had since. So maybe in a week or two I'll get the grape candy, who knows?

Seconding this. Admittedly, I'm going from memory of the EDP, as I ran out some time ago so can't do a direct comparison, but the extrait has more depth and warmth, and on me, a more prominent amber than the EDP.

I was finally able to find a Kolonya not too long ago and am enjoying it very much. Now I just discovered on Instagram this announcement. I am very curious about the release and, if and how much it will probably differ from the original version.

Thanks for the heads up on Kolonya. Will they do something similar? I liked the Kolonya a lot, but I am afraid that even if they keep some similarities, they'll add some uninteresting drydown to make it into a parfum. We shall see.

Thanks, @Mak-7! I eventually found a full-minus-two-sprays bottle on Facebook's "Fragrance Marketplace" ($200/50ml). Worth it? Well, at that price it's mos-def not a "daily wear"; still, it is a delicious fragrance... and happens to be my choice for today's "Gourmand Monday" FOTD.
