Y'lang Jonquilles: Anyone ever heard of this long discontinued Private Collection Creed fragrance? Notes listed are "rose and tuberose" from the old documentation I have from Creed, still listed as being at 9 Bond St. in NYC. It was apparently created for Marie Osmond!

I'm fascinated by these rare and discontinued Creed fragrances that eventually surface - Verveine Narcisse, Bayrhum Vetyver, Herbe Marine, Scent of Oger, and several others that I recall reading about on BN (ZZ are you reading? You mentioned another Creed "Bois ---" at some point and a floral).

I wish they were listed in the database like some of the absolutely obscure Chanel and Guerlain fragrances! :)

Also worth mentioning is that Royal Scottish Lavender was listed in the Private Collection (and I believe Citrus Bigarrade was as well, at one point?)

Didn't know that.

Bois de Santal was one of the obscure ones. I haven't tried any of these listed but I believe JazznPool has a few, and Dullah has tried or owns Scent of Oger.

Citrus Bigarade and REL used to be Private Collection.

Dullah hooked me up with a decant of Scent of Oger. It's... interesting. Herbe Marine, I saw that earlier in this forum, never heard much about it in that one thread.

With the help from one BNer in Amsterdam I bought a flacon of Scent of Oger a few months ago. I like it a good deal. It is refreshingly different and seems to be a mixture of several creeds with a little fruity potpourri added. I liked it enough to enlist the help of another kind BNer to get the last available flacon from Oger in Amsterdam. It is in transit right now and I'm praying that it arrives intact. Scent of Oger has made Creed atomizer status in my rotation. The fragrance was custom made for the Oger clothing store. Per Oger administration, there is no plan to do a second edition of Scent of Oger at this time, but that could change.

I received a decant of Bayrhum Vetiver from the OP and I've shared it with others for the fun of it. It is old school with pronounced clove and cumin (dill pickles) notes. Not bad, just doesn't really apppeal and something I would not wear frequently. I'd buy it if I saw it reasonably priced, but am not looking for it.

I tried Verveine Narcisse and liked it a lot. It is very herbal/green. Unfortunately, it was not widely distributed and I have not been able to locate a flacon or tester so far. I wrote Creed Paris a few months ago and did not hear back.

Herbe Marine is a curiosity. I'd like to smell it but am not really seeking it. I have learned it is not an aquatic or forerunner of Erolfa. I somehow missed seeing a full tester on eBay that went for about $75.00.

Y'lang Jonquilles is another I'd like to whiff but not necessarily acquire. It would be interesting if someone wrote Marie Osmond and received a response about this to learn if it was actually a bespoke fragrance for her. Certainly plausable.

Bois de Santal, I bought a big decant last year then found a flacon. It is simply the best sandalwood fragrance I've smelled.

I am a fan of Citrus Bigarrade. It has great citrus zing and better longevity than Bois de Cedrat. I found a flacon and a few partial testers.

Royal English Leather is a must have, and I backed it up. I have a feeling though that one 75ml bottle may last me the rest of my life! One of the most powerful Creeds I've smelled. 2 maybe 3 sprays max and it lasts for hours.

BTW, we are narrowing in on the release of Feuille Verte (early November)! I hear there will be a green atomizer available as well. It will be interesting to see how the juice compares to that from the limited initial release.
