Creed GIT fake or not

Hello Everybody!

After some thought, I acquired 100 ML of Green Irish Tweed from an authorized retailer and it seems that the LOT: F000694 is invalid.
Furthermore, I had tried also with the ref: 1110032 and on check fresh it turned out to be a bottle from 2011. I understand that is not the batch code, but tried anyway. Now, the Ref does not work anymore.
Do any of you have any experience with this occurrence? Can it be a fake?
The following is written on the box and bottle: RP. MSL, BL9 5NB. UK. IT seems to be an address for a consultancy company.

Do these help? Don't know if it is relevant, but the cap is heavy, overall, the bottle does not give the impression of cheap.

Cap should be gold on the top (different cap placed on?) Otherwise everything else looks ok.

Thanks. I thought the different cap could be because it is an older bottle. I also purchased it at the old price. Weird that check fresh says the batch is invalid. On the other hand, it is an official retailer.
