Closest thing to Virginia Cedarwood?

My husband is severely allergic to Virginia Cedarwood Juniperus virginiana (can't even sit in the same room with a cedar Christmas tree without severe allergic symptoms) so I don't even want to bring it into the house. What would be the closest substitute that is not a juniper or cypress oil (trying to stay out of that whole family)?
