Choice between PDM Layton Exclusif vs Kilian Straight to Heaven?

Hi Guys,

Wanted to know your opinion and your vote on this ? Between Parfums de Marley Layton Exclusif and By Kilians Straight to heaven which would be your choice of being a more likable scent and also which is strong in projection ? I mean pretty strong projection ? I kind of like both, can't seem to decide which one to start with ?

What do you guys suggest and feel ?

I own the PdM and have tried the Kilian many times and very much like both, and I'd say the PdM of the two.

Yes even I think by just a slight margin even for me PDM Layton Exclusif has got a slightly better margin.

PDM Layton Exclusiv has stronger projection. Straight to Heaven smells more interesting and it's more refined, at least for me - though some people might not like its boozy character.

Yep, I agree, but I have other perfumes as well more suited and appropriate for the occasion and the venue. Having said that most of the times the fragrance that I wear, my philosophy, concept, belief is, it is a great tool to make a statement and most of the time for me it has to be an emphatic statement, announcing my arrival, or my presence in the vicinity. Doesn’t matter what the venue or the event is, I would wear what I like to wear, which I feel will boost my confidence, make me feel good. Maybe release some endorphin, and keep me in that happy state of bubble.

That’s interesting, then I guess I would go with Layton. That scent profile is splashy.

For me compared to Excusif, Layton OG is a little underwhelming.

Not a fan of Layton OG or Exclusif, but I ave to acknowledge that exclusif is a big step up compared to the OG.

To go back to the initial question: I'd choose StH any day over Layton. StH is much more refined.
Another one you might want to consider is Ursa by Tiziana Terenzi.
