Artisanal fans what’s your top 5 releases of 2021? There’s been a lot in this corner!

Fun thread! This year has been insane, to the point where I haven't been able to wear certain fragrances enough to get to know them, even after months of owning them. Not ideal, being such a victim of FOMO... The following five I've worn quite a lot, though, and they're all keepers:

Jinkoh Store - Japanese Garden
Dixit & Zak - Emperor's Court
Pineward - Treacle
Slumberhouse - Norne (oil)
Katana Parfums - Santal Segar

Jinkoh store sound interesting. Does the merchant have a web store? Can’t find anything

—Rosa (LTD Edition): My current favorite rose fragrance and one of the best uses of natural civet ever.

—Abu Madyan: Excellent noir and bitter coffee grounds blend with lots of herbs, spices and a clean-metallic (sometimes, mineral) oud. Elegant, bold and mysterious.

— EO Black and Black Chango: Incense done the right way. Pure blackness. A favorite.

—Vintage 84: Mysore perfection, yet linear. Drydown isoleasant and intense.

—Om: smoky, warm and dense. Best Centaury to date. A Dendera evolution.

If Papillon is also considered as an artisanal house, then would add Spell 125 right after Black Chango.

I think there’s a website coming. He has an Instagram page and is an active member on Ouddict. Totally worth messaging him to ask for samples

I never tried the original, but this one has a very noticiable civet note that makes the rose smell almost like a pipe.

Thanks for reminding me about Tea Rose Mimosa! I was really wowed by that one when it arrived, but I haven't worn it as much as it deserves.
