Hi, does anyone now in the good old days how much was a EO 1edp? What about an EO2 edp?
P.S. Yeah, I know it’s a sacrilege to digress to another perfumer but still...

I got Malik al Taif 2. I love a Rose Oud, especially with Taif Rose. Nothing too special, just beautiful/high quality

Ditto this or Baikal Gris for me.

back in the days, EO1 and EO2 EDP went for $299 for 50ml.

Scalping info on Parfumo’s souk
- Rysing Mysore 40ml OG going for 450EUR, that’s at least 4 times more than the original price
- EO 1 edp OG (leather pouch) 45 ml goes for 950 EUR so more than 3x the original price

I watched the souk(market) pre and post Areej release and the activity intensified post release, it surely is related to the favourable reviews about this collection.

I had a talk with the sellers, one is a regular on the Prin page on this forum . The Ensar prices are just absurd and the first option is swap, the Dixits are for sale but hey, it ain’t raining with money here in Europe.
I brought up the prices cause scalping is on here.
This collection’s pieces go for 100EUR more added to the retail price so far on Parfumo. Walimah is kept under lock so far, only one offer posted a few days ago, 495 EUR. I expect by Xmas to hit 600 EUR.

I find the better deals are on Ebay and Mercari (but less in volume)... the individuals on Parfumo are sentimentally attached to their perfumes so it difficult to find good deals... it is more of an on-line version of a swap shop on Rodeo Drive in Beverly Hills

Do you or does anyone know when we will get our For Sale forum up and running?
I was looking at eBay's Ensar along with Areej le Dore yesterday.
Some of those prices are up there a bit.
When we were talking about Inverno Russo a bit ago, this popped up on eBay.

It is my understanding that Basenotes will no longer allow sales or splits anymore because of legal concerns by Grant. Apparently, there have been several scams where individuals lost large sums of money. By the way, I think Areej is expensive on all sites, and the only place where I have seen occasional good deals for Areej is Mercari.

Ummm, well I guess if you have that kind of money and don't know what to do with it.
I found the amberyness to be more like Oud Zhen than Oud Zen.
I like it better than Oud Zhen and about the same as Oud Zen.
It's really nice. Now I wish I had added Chinese Oud ll to my cart instead of zipping down to
Siberian Musk ll, which had already sold out. Not that I would have chosen Chinese Oud ll over
Siberian Musk ll. I was having issues with Coming Soon still showing up a few minutes into the sale.
Did anyone else have an issue with the last Classic release?
I never saw the Discover Now. It just kept showing Coming Soon.
I finally clicked the Coming Soon and that's when the drop-down appeared.
So I clicked the Starting 12:00 ad that's when the add to cart popped up.
Boy, I wish an old colleague of basenotes would straighten things up.
Really miss his presence at these launches.
I have a partial of Chinese Oud and a 5ml decant from the fellow basenoter.
Chinese Oud is really nice. I really like it.

Hmmm. I wonder if these were the same scams that hit Ouddict.
