I’ve noticed there’s not much talk about Cambodian Oud. Anyone here try that one? How bout Kinam? I feel like I have seen anything on those outside of Clair V, Ramsey and KyaraZen.
I didn’t get to try them myself but there are a few reviews on IG.

Based on what I can see there, the reviews of Cambodian mention it being smoky, very round/aged, not as sweet or fruity as a typical Cambodian, a bit sour, but very very oudy. The sweetness is described as being caramel-ish.

Some say it is the most oudy of the entire bunch. I can’t imagine anything being oudier than the Chinese or the Indian, but if it is, it must be something special.

Dont have the spray of cambodian oud, but i do have some of the oud oil used in it neat. Cambodi oud from 1985, same oud was used in the original formula of Henry Jacques’ Ghalia.

It’s really lovely stuff, not plasticky berry fruity as with modern cambodis, but more like an aged berry liqeuer. It’s very smooth, a touch leathery, and has an antique wooden furniture smell. It is quite oudy yea.

I’m not interested in the idea of diluting oud oils to make sprays myself, but if the spray is able to capture the nuance displayed by the oil, then it should be something very special indeed.

Wow! That’s pretty much exactly what the reviews are describing it to be.

The Cambodian Oud was the one I wanted from the start and your description sounds beautiful.

Taking a trip back to a recent classic tonight, Musk Lave. I think a lot more sandalwood is front and center which is surprising because the bergamot and lavender are still just as present. Either my nose was more in tune with the sandalwood or it’s aging beautifully. Either way I still love this stuff.

But the reason I thought to mention it was because something funny and a bit nerve wrecking happened. In short… met 2 new dogs tonight at a new friend’s house and while at first almost got attacked, they settled down a little but both were on me the whole evening, nosing, nudging and licking my arm where Musk Lave was. Then…the one dog (who was half Beauceron) tried to herd me like a sheep hahaha. I don’t know if the musk had anything to do with it but they were definitely interested in it for sure. Good thing I wasn’t wearing civet.

I’m gonna back it up! It’s really good and the price is very fair imo!
I’m wondering if I need another bottle of it too.

I would have gotten backups of both Chinese and Indian if I hadn’t splurged on guitar pedals recently.

Edit: As I run off to spray myself with Oud Zhen while playing my new to me but awesome Zendrive pedal.

I put on 2 sprays of Indo Oud on one arm and 2 sprays of Indian Oud on the other today. I walked through the entry hallway once before going into the living room. My daughter came through the same direction about 3 minutes later and smelled them easily, without being close to me! So I’m guessing those of you wearing these new ones, are leaving some good scent trails!

Also, the best thing Ive done in this hobby for awhile, is getting a second bottle of each of these.

I sprayed two sprays of Indian Oud and everyone in my house smelled me in rooms I’d left, lol. That’s why I think the spray format magnifies the scent bubble/trail. I feel like the trick was in finding the perfect ratio of oud to alcohol AND finding the perfect oud for this application (I’m certain that all ouds wouldn’t work as well).

I’m having so much fun with my Chinese Oud experiments but I’m not playing around with the Indian at all, lol.

I agree, the spray format almost has to be creating the performance and sillage!

I'm wearing History of Indian Oud this morning. It opens with a blast of smoldering oud chips and develops into sour-fruity and rich oud wood with swirls of smoky dried wood. It's an amazing fragrance that it soley relies upon oud, which is crazy, considering how it develops. This is what I've always wanted from Adam's releases, I've felt other releases didn't let the oud shine enough. This scratches that itch for me.

Welp, 3 new perfumes are coming, now out of "feel oud"....
Like we are all millionaires with unlimited cash and no other perfume buying obligations to other brands 🤬😛😄
I wonder if it will be a one thing of a collab between them, and launch under feel oud because they are both owners, or will it be a regular thing?
What do you guys and girls think?

My wallet is crying seeing these feel oud news of Adam and Bortnikoff. Really excited for these.
And you have to applaud the packaging. In my opinion Adams presentation is the best in the game. Unique and high quality. Cannot wait to sniff these.

Where are you seeing this? I'm not seeing it on the Feel-Oud website, or their Instagram. Or is it not officially announced yet?

Would love to hear more, notes, bottles, pricing
