Anything great from Van Cleef and Arpels?

I just got my girlfriend Neroli Amara and she loves it. I also love that its made my my favorite perfumer Quentin Bisch as he is the best currently in my opinion.

I was wondering if any other Van Cleefs but for men smell amazing

Midnight In Paris EDT and Tsar are my favourites from the house.

Ambre Imperial is by Quentin Bisch, as well. It's a unisex amber, some would say it leans masculine (whatever that means - nobody says I smell "manly" when I wear Burberry London for Men or l'Occitane Eau des Baux). It's quite a dry, woody and peppery amber with a hint of smokiness.

Midnight In Paris EDT and Tsar are my favourites from the house.

Seconded, these ones being among the best although not only outstanding scents from this house- unfortunately, with limited availability with (near) discontinuation status.

Midnight In Paris EdT was one of my favorites, too. A fantastic fragrance, relative to its inexpensive cost. Wonderful dry down. Of course, it's not around any longer.

These two have strong fan bases for sure.

But my observations of you BIgT are that they might be too old school for you. Plus they are very hard to find or priced crazy high.

On a pretty short list of regrets I have is not buying more Van Clef & Arpels Pour Homme when it was still available at retail. It's a mega potent (which you would like) rosey, leathery concoction that was def a product of the very loud 1980s rat pack. A scent that gets into the room before you do and stays after you leave. Often compared with Antaeus which I can sort of understand. But to me, there are very different scents.

Some younger Basenoters might find it "old mannish" or worse "old womanish."

I love it for the cojones it has.

Tsar is kind of potent 80s take on a fougere from what I gather.

If they have any current offerings for men, I'm unaware of them.

Pour Homme, TSAR and Midnight in Paris are worth checking out. Good luck finding them at reasonable prices.

I have tried 3 out of the current line-up and like all of them. They don't project a lot, but they are beautiful and long lasting. The 'manliest' of those would be Bois doré. I would love to try California Rêverie.
