Hi guys,
I ordered 5g Ambroxide from Symrise. Because I would be using it in perfume, I guess it's best to dilute in perfumers alcohol?
What would you suggest as a ratio? For my other notes, I have 5ml containers. If I would make a 5ml container with Ambroxide, how much gr would you suggest?

i'd suggest using DPG or TEC as solvent. ethanol evaporates, and your dilution will sooner or later be out of %-control. said that, i'd start with a 5% or even 1% solution, as higher percentages will form crystals again.

That is a great suggestion! I actually assumed I would have to use PA, because the end product was a perfume (I read that somewhere). Soon I will start to make dilutes of some of my other notes too (10% dilutes to start making accords with these). Would you suggest DPG too for those?

I don't think DPG works well with Perfumes, it has a sticky properties, I suggest using DEP instead

these 'sticky' properties could be a problem if you use DPG as carrier for your final product, but i don't see any problem using it as diluent for raw materials, which will be further diluted in ethanol for the finished perfume.
