T. Habanero has real oud, and real tobacco absolute, it seems like. I love the Tom Ford, but the Rania J is really better. Loving it. Have you tried it? Do you have suggestions for alternatives to the Tom Ford?

I usually do not like tobacco fragrances, but I recently wore Bortnikoff Tabac Dore and I found it be an enjoyable sweetish tobacco/oud fragrance

Habanero is nice stuff but it’s a little too light on me. If it performed better with my skin I’d grab a bottle.

wow really? That stuff is nuclear to my nose. Well maybe not nuclear but definitely projects 4-6 feet with ease and lasts quite a long time. One spray fills a room imo.

I have to agree that T. Habenero is not a huge projector for my nose.

Sahel by Mine Perfume Lab. Tobacco, oud, honey, sandalwood and vanilla. It came in a discovery set I bought and I really like it. It is long lasting but not obnoxiously strong. Very wearable, pleasant, good in close quarters. There are a couple others I like that don’t have oud but Sahel is great and isn’t anything polarizing.

Is it in a similar fashion as Tobacco Oud and T. Habanero?

I am familiar with the Tom Ford fragrance you mentioned and no Sahel is a much airier, softer and more casual fragrance. Much more contemporary than TF which is much heavier and dated IMO. Sahel has no alcoholic note or spices other than a slight touch of vanilla. It is rather straight forward but well done. The tobacco notes are much more realistic than TF.

I am no fan of Tom Ford and I am sure most of BN knows that by now.
If it's a wearable tobacco scent you are looking for, look no further than D&G The One Eau de Parfum. Its opening with that ginger note is something totally different to the TF, but the dry down is woody, has just a touch of sweetness with the tobacco blended in there quite nicely.

Yes - wonderful and classy. Don't own any of hers, but have decided to purchase the entire house of 9 fragrances tomorrow.
Oh! Your research has led you to add Rania J to your collection. Wonderful! I love Ambre Loup, also. I haven’t tried the others although I have one other coming, Musc Moschus. Should be here any day.

Treacle is a great tobacco absolute centered albeit raw and agrestic offering. It’s heavily centered around Smokey tobacco. More so than any fragrance I’ve smelled so far.

For a more refined take Atman Xaman does tobacco absolute and immortelle quite nicely along with incense and leather. It’s more of a cigar accord. Very classy stuff.

Jeke is hard to find but an incredible tobacco offering that fits the bill imo. Just stay away from the 2022 offering.

Tom Ford's Tobacco Oud doesn't strike me as being all that similar to Rania J T.Habanero, in no small part because there isn't really an oud accord in Tobacco Oud.

Tobacco Oud is really a chewy tobacco accord blended with "cold" smoke (from cistus) and an amber accord. Compositionally I can't say I've found too much exactly like it, because it's really exploring a cold-warm dichotomy that isn't terribly common.
