Founded in 1916 in Parma, with its eponymous cologne. The house now produces several Acqua di Parma variations as well as the Blu Mediteranneo aromatherapy line (launched in the late nineties) and the men's grooming range Collezione Barbiere (launched in 2005).
LVMH Moet Hennessey Louis Vuitton acquired 50% of Acqua di Parma in 2001.
