I'd certainly give them a go, including the men's offerings, but I wouldn't expect anything astounding from either collection. Also, stereotype much? Looks like AI still has a lot to learn

You raise a good poin there actually - this could be where the AI trend fails. Maybe the greatest perfume of the future IS pineapple and olives - but an AI won't combine them.

Heston Blumenthal - the great British chef - makes a trifle that he considers "perfect" (this guy is/was considered the best chef in the world). It combines black olives with strawberry to boost the fruit effect. Other great combos seldom known are black pepper and strawberry, sugar and tomato, etc. These little unexpected combos can be really magical if done for the pursuit of beauty and not shock value.

Oh, they do that already! Givaudan has one and it has assisted with several fragrances. In one instance I verified a fragrance it had worked on and I tried to give it co-perfumer credit in the directory. Not sure it made it past Grant though ;)
