Christian Dior have announced that British actor, Joseph Quinn, will be the face of La Collection Privée scent, Gris Dior.
Gris Dior was created by François Demachy and originally launched in 2013 as "Gris Montaigne." – Gris Dior is a signature fragrance that is now more than ever closely tied to the history of Dior Couture. The fragrance is the olfactory expression of the Dior gray, the now-iconic colour Christian Dior loved to celebrate: the couture gray, the sentimental gray of the couturier's family home in Granville, Normandy, and the pearl gray of the shopfront on Avenue Montaigne.
An official Parfums Christian Dior spokesperson described Joseph Quinn as “A mesmerizing and mysterious actor, he is the perfect embodiment of the streamlined chypre accord of this leading composition, designed as the olfactory transcription of the emblematic color of the Avenue Montaigne house.”
Quinn played the character of Eddie Munson in series 4 of the hit Netflix show, Stranger Things. He told WWD, that Gris Dior "smells amazing, unlike anything I’ve smelled before — so it’s pretty fun to be a part of it."
