London-based perfumery, Molton Brown, has widened distribution of what they are describing as their first ambery-rose fragrance, Rose Dunes. The scent was originally launched earlier in the year in London and the Middle East.
The fragrance, which is Inspired by "the mysterious beauty of the Arabian Desert", contains notes of cassis, saffron, old, rose and patchouli from Sulawesi.
The perfumer, Philippe Paparella, says "I wanted to add more richness and complexity to the spicy rose note by carefully finding raw materials that seamlessly blend and accentuate it. I chose patchouli to bring more depth, darkness and sophistication through its chypre facet. It’s sustainably sourced from Sulawesi, in Indonesia, for its intensity and high quality. This process helps preserve the environment and enhances the livelihood of farmers. I spent two years in Indonesia early in my career and saw how important it is to help develop and support local communities."
Rose Dunes is available as Eau de Toilette, Eau de Parfum, Bath & Shower Gel and Body Lotion.
