Imaginary Authors adds Fox in the Flowerbed to its library

Portland, Oregan-based perfumery, Imaginary Authors have added a new fragrance to its range – Fox in the Flowerbed.

Notes for the fragrances, which was created by founder-perfumer, Josh Meyer, include Jasmine, Tulips Frankincense, Wildflower Honey, Pink Peppercorns, Silver Thistle and Alpine Air.

As with all Imaginary Authors' fragrances, the fragrance is based on an imaginary story:
Rescued from obscurity by students who tracked down the reclusive author at a remote cabin in the Austrian Alps, this collection of alpine fairy tales marks the return of enigmatic writer, Chunhua Luli. The main characters in these stories are wild animals but the tender lessons they impart cut straight to the heart of the human condition. In the titular story, a young fox becomes obsessed with a butterfly, only to learn the hazards of infatuation. Other themes explored include the advantages of unflagging ambition, the importance and impact of beautiful objects, the pursuit of serenity, and the power of positive thinking. Forty years after her remarkable debut, Luli once again reminds us we are all animals, connected by an expansive and ever-changing ecosystem much larger than ourselves.

Fox in the Flowerbed is available now from the Imaginary Authors website as 2ml sample, 14ml travel spray and 50ml bottle.

I have tried a few from this house but haven't found anything appealing yet. Perhaps this is the one that will be different. One can always hope.
Hopefully a better experience than fox on the deck chasing squirrel in the flowerbed, which is an animalic gourmand my wife hates at the beginning but loves at the end.
